Mia is at such a SILLY age, it's hilarious. One of our favorite things is to go in her little playhouse, get out some instruments, and play music while she makes up crazy songs. Here's just a little taste of her outstanding musical talent!
Grammy & Grandpa brought Gabey some super awesome Muay Thai boxing trunks straight from the source in Thailand! Future muay thai boxer? Well, lets see if he can hang....
Lookin' super cool in his superbad trunks:
Cool factor going down a little when Muay Thai boxer snuggles with blankies.....
Muay Thai boxer plays with.......princesses?
Oh! Caught in the act! I swear I wasn't playing with them, I was just, uhhhhh, moving them out of the way so I could break this wood with my bare hand!!
Ok, so not so much a cold hearted fighter I guess. But he sure is cute!
Yesterday we spent a day at La Jolla Shores with the family! It was the last day before my parents, brother, and sister left to go back home to Thailand. We also met up with our "surrogate" family! For those of you that don't know, my saint of a mother has given 3 families the gift of surrogacy :) 2 sets of twins and 1 single baby, that now range from age 2-7. Yesterday we got to meet up and visit with a wonderful family from New Mexico, Joey, Logan, and 5 year old twins Ewan & Carol Marie! It was so much fun. We brought out the boogie board for the first time, and all the kids enjoyed "surfing" all day!
Gabey LOVED the boogie board!
JR even got out there to ride a few waves!
Mia decided to hop on
Then JR helped the kids ride!
Carol Marie & Ewan
Mia & Carol Marie took turns pulling eachother on the board
Gabriel played a fun game of "chuck the shovel into the waves and then try to catch it" :P He ended up clocking JR in the face a couple times too, too bad I didn't get any pictures of that!
Carol Marie with Mama Jan!
Mama/Grammy pulling the girls on the board
Mia & Carol Marie dancing. Carol Marie was shakin' her booty, and Mia was breakin' it down on the ground!
Logan, Ewan, Grandpa, Grammy, and Kelsey hangin on the shore
Mia, Carol Marie, and Gabey making sand castles
Mia & Uncle Nolan
Silly girls!
Such a wonderful family! Joey, Carol Marie, Mama Jan, Ewan, and Logan.
3.5 years old, and Mia finally gets her first haircut! Her hair was getting pretty long, and was very dry on the ends. It was getting tough to brush in the mornings, so we decided to get her first trim :) At first she was concerned about it hurting (she remembers Gabriel crying while getting his hair cut) but eventually was looking forward to it. We go to a great kids salon that has plenty of entertainment for the kids. Mia got to pick a movie to watch during her cut (Dora!).
She got the full service, wash, cut & style. Lucky girl! First it was laying down at the washing station
Before picture
After picture! I was so happy she didn't lose the curl on the ends :)
